Macxmimise was set up and is run by Dominique Simond.
She does all the troubleshooting, training, database design and website
maintenance. She works with associates (all tried, tested and trusted)
when clients want to use her and her contacts for other tasks (such as
website design and content). Born in France, she
trained as a teacher then moved into IT; an Apple Mac was her first
computer. She set up macximise when she realised that problem-solving
was second nature to her and that she had the skills and patience
needed to help others make the most of their Macs. She
regularly trains on Apple products, keeping up to date with new
technology, whether that is the latest operating system, new software
or a new Apple product. As for helping clients,
she works one-to-one, at your side, as fast as she can, giving value
for money. As a former teacher, she knows how important it is not to
blind people with science or overwhelm them with information they don’t
want – or need. She will inform you to the level you wish to be
informed. If you are non-techy and just want her to get on with it, she
will. If you want to learn how to do things yourself, she’ll explain at
your speed. Either way, she won’t use jargon; she speaks your language
(though with a bit of a French accent … she can’t help that !)
